Bayer’s plant health team in St. Louis, MO is looking for a scientist to lead the plant pathology Diagnostic Lab for North America Row Crops Research. This is a highly collaborative role to support R&D research as well as provide diagnostic support to teams. The candidate will develop a strategy for pathogen isolate collection and improve digital capabilities and tools. This is an exciting opportunity to inform and define emerging threats to Plant Health.

PathogenDx is searching for nucleic acid specimens of Cannabis sativa infecting viruses to validate a novel plant virus detection assay.
Specific viruses of interest include Beet Curly Top Virus (BCTV), Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV), Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), Tobacco Streak Virus (TSV), Arabis Mosaic Virus (ArMV), Alfalfa Mosaic Virus (AMV), and Lettuce Chlorosis Virus (LCV).
