The Plant Disease and Insect Clinic at NC State University (https://pdic.ces.ncsu.edu/) is seeking to hire a full-time plant pathologist to diagnose diseases of vegetables (e.g. tomatoes, peppers, cucurbits, brassicas, sweetpotatoes) and other select hosts submitted to the clinic. Although this is listed as a “Research Associate” position, the duties of the position are largely centered around service and extension, such as:
