The Global Plant Pathology group at Corteva Agriscience is seeking an outstanding candidate to fill a Research Scientist (RS) position in their Global Diagnostics Team (GDT). The Global Diagnostics Team serves different areas of the business by using state-of-the-art technology for pathogen identification. Our services support Corteva’s commercial groups, research and development projects, Agronomy, and phytosanitary seed movement. In addition, the Global Diagnostics Team interacts with international Corteva locations to support IPM, phytosanitary, and disease characterization. The RS will serve as an integral member of the GDT team focusing on leading the Global Diagnostics Network and advancing plant pathogen diagnostics using novel methods. In addition, the RS will support the Johnston molecular and morphological diagnostics of pathogens for multiple crops. The position will involve close collaboration with other teams in the Global Plant Pathology group as well as internal and external collaborators.
