Welcome to this month's IT Bytes. We thought we would take a few lines to introduce you to the fun people who do fantastic things like add that fresh pumpkin latte scent to your websites. We all work for the Center for Environmental Regulatory Information Services (CERIS) in the Department of Entomology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Three of us here are on the NPDN Team: Mike Hill – director of CERIS; Martin Deubler – assistant director of CERIS; and Andrew Daigle – senior application developer.

Mike Hill has been with CERIS for over 18 years and has been the director for the past four years. He has been involved with the NPDN program in several different roles since joining the center in 2005. Mike lives in Northwest Indiana with his wife, two daughters, Shiba Inus, and a cat. A little-known fact for those who have never met Mike is that he is a coffee enthusiast and enjoys copious amounts. 
Martin Deubler has been with CERIS for five years and has been the assistant director for the past four years. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and two sons. A little-known fact about Martin is that he was a baseball pitcher in college and loves to watch rugby. His favorite team is the New Zealand All Blacks, especially their haka. 
Andrew Daigle has been with CERIS for seven and one-half years. Andrew worked on a few other projects for CERIS before becoming the NPDN IT manager two years ago. Andrew lives in West Lafayette, Indiana, with his wife, two dogs, and three cats. He enjoys playing music on the banjo, mandolin, and dobro when he's not busy working on your requests.
