ASSOCIATE PLANT PATHOLOGIST (DIAGNOSTICIAN)

Due to the retirement of Meg Williamson after 27 years, the Clemson University Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic is seeking to rehire that position. The Clinic is a part of the University and it operates similarly to other university-run labs, accepting samples from Extension offices and directly from in-state and out-of-state clients. However, it is housed in the Department of Plant Industry in the Division of Regulatory Services. As such, we also work closely with the Regulatory Field Inspectors to identify diseases, insects and weeds of concern.
Two postdoctoral research positions, one in entomology and one in applied virology, are available at the USDA-ARS, Soil Dynamics Lab in Auburn, AL in collaboration with Auburn University.
